The Clippers are a team that works hard, stays scrappy, and is passionate about growth and innovation, all things that align with the Honey brand. And their best player Kawhi Leonard just happens to be money smart and a hell of a defender, which made him a natural ambassador for the brand. During the partnership, we created campaigns featuring Kawhi, activations that played into the pride of Clippers fans, and partnered on philanthropic projects to help the LA community.

Kawhi is a team player, he’s always been defensive-minded, and off the court, he’s smart with his money. Put these ingredients together and you’ve got an unstoppable force to help defend people against overpaying. We wanted to create an ad that was authentic to both Kawhi and our brand — and we think we were able to accomplish that in a way that was simple and fun.

LA inspired swag for Clippers fans.

As part of our partnership with the LA Clippers we had the name on jersey and got to do fun activations in the stadiums. One of those was to celebrate the city Honey calls home. We collaborated with three LA artists to show how LA inspires their work. They used those influences to create three custom, limited edition t-shirts for LA Clippers fans.
